Wow what a weekend! Benic Shock Services competitors celebrated Labor Day weekend in style, visiting victory lane no less than 16 times at speedways all across the country and into Canada. In Indiana, AFCO by Benic Shocks had a momentous weekend. On AFCO by Benic 16 series small body shocks Jonathan Hendrick got the weekend off to a fine start by taking his first career sprint car victory on Friday at Gas City, IN. Scotty Weir would then take over where Hendrick left off by going 2 for 2 on the weekend in the Ron Gorby owned #G1 Maxim. Weir started by sweeping the events at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday before heading to Haubstadt where he would lead all 25 laps to take the MSCS victory at Tri-State Speedway. The wins represented the 1st and 2nd for Gorby as a car owner. Brady Short finished a strong second to Weir on both nights with his 5-Bar Maxim utilizing AFCO by BENIC M2 adjustable shocks. At Miami County Speedway in Peru, IN, AFCO by Benic Shocks had a dominating weekend. Andrew Peters started off the weekend by taking the Front Row Challenge. After starting 22nd on the field, Peters would go on to win the race by a straightaway in his #94 Stallard Chassis. Andrew followed that up by taking the Sunday night feature as well to put him at 11 victories for the season. Parker Price-Miller would take his 9th feature of the year in the Junior Sprint class while Joe Leek took home the checkers for the 3rd time in the non-wing class.
